On Monday, 16th December 2024, VANGUARD partners from the Transplantation Department at Lyon Claude Bernard University and Edouard Herriot University Hospital participated in the 6th Lyon Immunopathology Federation (LIFe) seminar held in Lyon, France. The event brought together physicians, immunology researchers, funding bodies, and representatives from the pharmaceutical and medical supplies sectors.
The seminar featured two keynote presentations, scientific talks from various LIFe research groups, and networking sessions alongside poster presentations and sponsor exhibits. Informal discussions with industry representatives took place primarily during coffee breaks and networking intervals, fostering valuable exchanges between researchers and industry professionals.
During the event, the VANGUARD project was presented by Olivier Thaunat from Lyon Claude Bernard University, highlighting key research initiatives and progress in the field of immunopathology.
